Dr. Larry Ponemon, Chairman and Founder | Ponemon Institute

Dr. Larry Ponemon is considered a pioneer in privacy auditing and the Responsible Information Management (RIM) framework. He was appointed to the Advisory Committee for Online Access & Security for the United States Federal Trade Commission. He was appointed by the White House to the Data Privacy & Integrity Advisory Committee for the Department of Homeland Security. He has served on two California State task forces on privacy and data security laws. Dr. Ponemon earned his Ph.D. at Union College and holds a Master’s degree from Harvard University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Information Privacy Professional.

Shaun Bertrand brings over 20 years of experience in information security with a core focus on penetration testing and vulnerability assessment services for enterprise organizations.
